A Girl’s Stubborn Attire

A girl developed stripes like marks on her skin during her adolescent age.Those are the stretch marks that happen as part of growth in some children.

When she grew up, she found herself ugly because of the marks that were on her skin.She was having stretch marks on her hip, abdomen, back of her shoulder and almost everywhere on her body.

She tried every cream and oil that was available in the market to get rid of her stretch marks.Her marks were stubborn that it never wanted to go off from her skin.

The girl then learned to live with her stretch  marks and stopped finding ways to get rid off it.Though she learned to live with it, she was ashamed to show her marks to the world so she always dressed in such a way her dress doesn’t reveal her marks.

she knew that someday her stretch marks will be noticed by the guy whom she would marry.she feared of that day because she thought she will be taunted for having such marks. She was miserable thinking she would be hated for the marks on her skin

One day she found the love of her life.With so much fear and hesitation ,She showed him the ugly marks on her skin and said him how bad she feels for having them on her skin. To her surprise her man kissed her striped skin and said they are beautiful on you. I love you the way you are.

It is then she realized even the marks on her skin had a reason for its existence. It is her stretch marks which showed how sincere was her partners love for her. She embraced her stretch marks only when her partner embraced the flaw in her skin.

Sometimes we stress about things which are not in our control and make life miserable for ourselves and for others. How many of us truely embrace the flaws in our partner?

Sometimes we end up falling in love with someone who is not meant for us. Though your brain tells that he or she is not meant for you, your mind will never listens, You feel like you can’t let that person go off your mind and will become desperate for love and attention. This Craving for love from someone who is not interested in you is not good for yourself and for the other person too. You are wasting your time and draining your energy for a person who is not worth for it. The other person also may feel annoyed because of your desperation for attention from him or her. Have one if you don’t have any hobby.

Take Good Care of yourself : Stay healthy by having good diet and doing exercise everyday.Sleep at-least 8 hours a day and do exercises like walking , running, swimming or yoga everyday.You will have a great peace of mind if you are fit and healthy.

Focus on your Dream : Have a dream to achieve something big in life. Let your dream become the thing which your heart craves for, Plan short-term goals to achieve your long-term dream. Work towards accomplishing your goals. If you fail in accomplishing your goal , work in different ways and find out which way works out the goal. By achieving your goals you will live your dream one day which will make you more attractive than ever before.

Pain and Pleasure of a Mom

Having crossed 40 weeks of pregnancy  I was eager and expecting labor pain every moment. My due date as per gynecologist was june 1st 2016.

On june 2nd night I went to bed praying and hoping for my labor pain to start. That night I was urinating frequently , around 2.30 am some liquid was leaked out of me on my bed. Unsure of whether it is amniotic fluid or not I googled and found out its amniotic fluid as google said amniotic fluid is odourless . I asked my mom and dad to take me to hospital.

As they were sleepy my mom made coffee for us .She also prepared cumin water with some jaggery added to it and took it in a hot flask.she said if it’s consumed once pain begins, the pain will aggravate.

As we started to hospital in the car, my contractions began.It was sharp pain in my abdomen that lasted only for few seconds and recurred after few mins.We arrived the hospital and doctor checked my cervix dilation and said my labor pain had begun and she asked me to wait for the pain to progress.As time progressed the interval between each sharp pain decreased from minutes to seconds.Being sorrounded by 2 nurse, 1 doctor and 2 ayah. I was asked by the nurse not to push the baby though I got the urge to push the baby. The nurse said that my cervix has dilated only 7 cm and I am allowed to push the baby only when the cervix dilation is complete to 10 cm that’s when the baby’s head will be seen from outside. She said I would lose my energy if I start to push much before when it is necessary and would have no energy when it will be really required. Pain accompanied by urge to push but not allowed to push was dreadful experience in my life. When the baby’s head was seen the nurse and the doctor asked me to push. I read somewhere in google that I should push just like putting abdomen crunches. I did put crunches repeatedly for every sharp pain in the abdomen and baby was finally out at 11.30 am.

Doctor said Its a girl baby. Nurse rested the baby on my chest. I kissed her tiny face. Nurse made my baby to kiss me in turn. She asked me to breastfeed her as the baby was constantly crying.She positioned the baby for me to breastfeed. The moment my baby picked my nipple with her mouth she started suckling and stopped crying. It gave me immense pleasure when I realized that I am lactating and when I learnt my baby already knew how to suckle and feed on me.That is the time I realized that when there is a creation there is a creator. Nature doesn’t allow the baby to stay in womb for more than 40 weeks. Nature makes the lungs of the baby work only after its pops out from mothers tummy. Nature makes the mom to lactate for the baby’s survival.Nature protects and guides every step of life. Its our duty to save nature.

Most expecting moms are anxious about child birth and labor pain and it is more in case of first timers. Though normal delivery is little painful, it is the best way for delivery as it is natural. A C-section can be avoided with proper diet and exercise. All moms wish is to give birth to a healthy baby through the natural way. Here are few tips that help you have a happy pregnancy and a normal delivery.

1) Choose the right doctor: First step is to choose the right doctor for your pregnancy checkups and delivery. Make sure that you are able to connect with your doctor easily and ask her questions and doubts you feel like asking without any hesitation. There are many good reputed doctors who barely spend time with patients to answer their questions, please don’t go for such doctors. Though they might have good reputation, they might not be suitable for you if they are very busy to speak to you for more than 5 minutes or so. It is sad that some doctors might push you for C-section for their convenience. So to choose your doctor, check for the number of normal delivery done by him or her. Talk to the doctor about his or her view on normal delivery. If you feel the doctor is good and cooperates for your expectations on normal delivery then continue your consultations with him or her, otherwise change your doctor.

2) Follow doctor’s Advice: Weight gain is a natural process during pregnancy. If you are overweight then there is a limit on your weight gain in order to deliver a healthy baby in a healthy way. Your doctor would initially check on your Body mass index (BMI) and suggest you a diet plan. Usually women with lower BMI are allowed to put on weight from 12 to 15 kg, Women with normal BMI are allowed to put on weight from 10 to 12 kg and women with higher BMI are allowed to put on weight from 7 to 9 kg during your entire pregnancy cycle. Strictly follow your doctor’s diet plan.

3) Eat lots of Greens: Anything that is edible and green in color is a rich source of Iron. During pregnancy loads of Iron is required for your baby’s growth and for yourself. Fill your stomach with lots of green veggies. Make sure you eat at-least one greenly vegetable every day. Some of the veggies good for pregnancy are beans, spinach, capsicum, cucumber, cauliflower, broccoli, peas, and cabbage.

4) Consume lots of fruits and Stay Hydrated: It is important for you to stay hydrated during pregnancy. Drink water every 2 hours once. Eat fruits like Orange, Pomegranate, apple, pear, guava and all other fruits which are rich in vitamins and iron.

5) Avoid Caffeine and Alcohol: Excessive consumption of caffeine and alcohol is not good for the baby’s growth. Stay away from coffee, cigar and Alcohol during pregnancy.

6) Go for prenatal Classes: Go for prenatal classes, In prenatal Classes they teach you how to handle complications that might occur during pregnancy and also they will teach you few exercises that you can practice for normal and less painful delivery.

7) Exercise and Walk: After completing 12 weeks (3 months) of pregnancy, it is mandatory to walk every day for minimum 30 minutes. Walking relaxes and loosens the muscles near your lower abdomen and legs which greatly helps you to push the baby during normal delivery. You can also do mild yoga if properly trained and learnt from yoga professional.
